Back OF HOUSE

full-TIME: DONUT SLINGER (DECORATING + DOUGH maker)

  • First and foremost, you must have a kind demeanor and positive attitude. We have a really amazing team dynamic, and this is a priority for us.

  • That being said, must be willing to work as a part of a team working towards the same goals.

  • Must be knowledgable of the PVDonuts brand and mission.

  • Pastry and/or bakery background strongly preferred, but not required.

  • Must be a self-starter, we don’t like to micro-manage.

  • Hours may vary, but are generally as follows:

    • Start time between 5:00-6:00am, and ending when tasks are completed.

    • Weekends and occasional holidays are required.

  • Must be able to stand on your feet for long periods of time (we'll provide new kitchen shoes after 60 days if you don't have them).

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more.

  • Must be able to think on your feet, be proactive, and solve problems as they come along.

  • Duties will include, but are not limited to:

    • Prepping donuts in accordance with monthly menus

    • Dipping and decorating donuts

    • Making all of our various dough bases (brioche, old fashioned, vegan, traditional yeasted)

  • Probably a lot of other things that will come up that will be as new to you as they are to us, but that’s all part of being a small business.

front of house

PART-TIME: COUNTER

  • First and foremost, you must have a kind demeanor and positive attitude. We have a really amazing team dynamic, and this is a priority for us - and not just for the team, but for customer interactions.

  • That being said, must be willing to work as a part of a team working towards the same goals.

  • Must be knowledgable of the PVDonuts brand and mission.

  • Cafe background preferred, but not required.

  • Must be a self-starter, we don’t like to micro-manage.

  • Hours may vary, but are generally as follows:

    • Part-time: upwards of 10 to 20 hours per week. Weekends are required.

  • Must be able to think on your feet, be proactive, and solve problems as they come along.

  • Duties will include, but are not limited to:

    • Helping customers with their orders (coffee + donuts)

    • Maintaining cleanliness in the front of house

    • Set up and break down the front of house
